Leisure airline Air Canada rouge expands to Hawaii

On November 21, 2014, Hawaiian-themed dancers welcomed Air Canada rouge new year-round non-stop service between YVR and Honolulu.

Vancouver Airport Authority welcomed Air Canada rouge’s new year-round non-stop service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Honolulu on November 21, 2014.

As part of the celebration, departing passengers were offered a quick taste of Honolulu that included Hawaiian food and musical entertainment featuring ukuleles, drums and dancing.

“Honolulu is one of our top 10 international destinations from YVR during the winter months,” said Anne Murray, vice president, marketing and communication, Vancouver Airport Authority. “We are excited that this addition for Air Canada rouge will allow more passengers to travel on each flight.”

Air Canada rouge began service to Honolulu on November 21, 2014 and service to Maui on December 1, 2014.
