Icelandair adds more flight times

Starting May 2019, Icelandair will be adding new departures from Keflavik Airport to better serve its North American customers.

These departures are additions to current connecting times, which are early in the morning and afternoon.

These changes are also related to the ongoing renewal of the Icelandair fleet of aircraft. The airline has already received three Boeing 737-MAX aircraft and will be welcoming an additional six planes early next year.

Icelandair will also be increasing the number of its reserve aircraft at KeflavĂk Airport, from one to three or more, to ensure faster turnaround time in the event of incidental delays.

Icelandair will also continue to offer its popular Stopover Pass, which allows passengers flying across the Atlantic to enjoy a seven-day stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare.
