YVR is piloting a new in-terminal service that offers a safe, clean, comfortable and private option for travellers needing an area for private breastfeeding and pumping.
An all-in-one solution for parents on the go, the free-standing, 4.64-square-metre Mamava pod includes dual grab bars, two benches, a charging outlet, USB port, shelf, mirror, coat hook, ceiling vents, an exhaust fan and occupancy-activated lighting.
Parents can enter the pod using the free Mamava mobile app, available on iOS and Android, or by contacting YVR’s 24/7 Operations Centre.
Located post-security near gate 77 in U.S. Departures, the Mamava pod is another option for parents who wish to be in a private space and is just one of many accessibility and inclusivity features available at YVR.
