WestJet Encore’s new services from YVR

Starting in June 2013, up to 45 Canadian-built Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft will be delivered to WestJet for its new regional routes.

Beginning June 24, 2013, WestJet’s new lower-cost provider, Encore, will operate two new daily non-stop services through Vancouver International Airport (YVR)—one to Fort St. John and the other to Victoria.

The routes will initially be serviced by two 78-seat Bombardier Q400 turboprops.

WestJet Encore is expected to expand its fleet and routes further by late summer.

WestJet Encore’s daily non-stop Vancouver-Fort St. John service departs Vancouver at 8:15am for Fort St. John and departs Fort St. John for Vancouver at 5:10pm.

The daily non-stop Vancouver-Victoria service departs Victoria at 7:15am for Vancouver and departs Vancouver at 7:25pm for Victoria.

Tickets for both of these new services are available through WestJet.
